Biochemistry 3 is about microbiology and its applications. Students will learn essential things about microbiology and its relationship with human health and its application in biotechnology.

 

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, students are expected to:

  1. Be able to explain the concept of fundamental microbiology
  2. Be able to explain the connection between microorganism and human health
  3. Be able to explain the application of microbiology in biotechnology

Week 9: Microbial interaction with human and Immunity and host defense

Week 10: Immune mechanism and Molecular immunology

Week 11: Diagnostic microbiology

Week 12: Recombinant DNA technology and genomics and Protein as products
